Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons sifted wheat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 grams of cheese
  • 1/2 cup ground walnuts
  • 150 grams of softened butter
  • suitable spices or only salt and pepper (quantities are according to your taste preferences)


Method of preparation :

Grate the cheese finely, add the soft butter to it.

 

Stir and pour the crushed walnuts into the mixture.

 

Add salt if the cheese is not salty enough. Add one cup of sifted flour. Mix everything well.

 

Follow the two eggs and stir again.

 

Finally, add the remaining flour and knead a thick dough. Cover it with a bowl or other suitable container and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Turn the oven to 180 degrees and let it heat up while you cook the pickles.

Roll out the dough (the layer should be 0.5 cm thick), spread water on its surface.

 

Sprinkle with a little ground pepper and cut into shapes or just cut into strips.

 

Arrange the figures in a tray, on the bottom of which you have previously placed a sheet of parchment (or use a silicone pad).

 

Bake the pickles in the already hot oven.

 

After 20 minutes, they will blush nicely, which means they are ready to crunch them.
