Learn how to cook "Pie stuffed with yellow cheese, tomatoes and olives". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
150 milliliters of yeast
3 tablespoons cream
2 tablespoons oil
0.5 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
0.5 teaspoon Provencal herbs
1 teaspoon sugar
1/3 teaspoon salt
2.5 - 3 teaspoons of flour
70 - 100 grams of yellow cheese / hard cheese (very tasty with 2 different types)
fresh dill
10 - 15 pitted olives
1 large tomato
spices of choice: black, red pepper, garlic.
Method of preparation :
Mix yeast with cream, oil, sugar, salt, Provencal herbs, add a pinch of pepper. Sift 2.5 cups of flour to which you have added baking soda and baking powder. Add it to the liquid mixture and knead a soft and slightly sticky dough on the hands. If necessary, use the remaining flour. Cover with foil and refrigerate for an hour.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease a suitable form and cover the bottom with baking paper.
Cut the tomatoes into thin circles (if it is very juicy, drain some of the liquid), the yellow cheese into tiles, the olives into circles, and the dill into small pieces.
Divide the dough into two parts, one of which should be larger than the other. Shape them into balls.
The dough is sticky and rolling it without flour is impossible. Place most of the bottom of the prepared dish and stretch with your hands until a layer about 0.5 cm thick is obtained. Pre-grease your hands with oil. Place the tomatoes on the dough, the olives on them, sprinkle with dill and if you want put a little red pepper, black pepper, garlic. Cover with yellow cheese / cheese tiles.
With the second part of the dough is a little more complicated. Grease your hands with oil, stretch the dough in a circle until it is the size of the first part, which serves as a base. It won't be exactly the same, but they didn't go to an exhibition :). There is another more beautiful option, but it is also longer to perform: spread baking paper on the work surface, grease it with oil and place the small ball of dough. Take a second sheet of paper, spread it and cover the dough with it (spread side down). Then roll out as needed. Remove the top paper and turn the dough over the filling, using the paper under it and then remove it - you will have a flat and beautiful surface. Pinch the edges of the two layers of dough, make holes in the top with a fork and place in the preheated oven. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Spread a piece of butter on the finished pie. Cover with a towel and leave for 5 - 10 minutes. You can then serve.
Enjoy your meal!
