Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 150 grams of butter
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons cream
  • salt to taste
  • oil to lubricate the pan

For the stuffing:

  • 500 grams of onions
  • 200 grams of yellow cheese
  • black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • frying oil

For topping:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3-5 tablespoons flour
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Melt the butter and allow it to cool. Add the cream to it and stir. Then pour the sifted flour, baking powder and salt. Knead a smooth homogeneous dough, which you store in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.

Finely chop the onion and fry it in hot oil until it acquires a yellowish transparent color. Add salt, pepper and leave to cool. Grate the yellow cheese on a coarse grater.

It's time for the filling. Mix the eggs, cream and mayonnaise, mix until smooth. Add the flour, baking powder, salt and mix thoroughly to obtain a thick creamy consistency.

Roll out the dough (to take the shape of a pan) and put it in the bowl, the bottom of which you have greased beforehand. Arrange the dough so that it covers the walls of the bowl. Then spread an even layer of fried onions, on it - grated cheese. Pour the filling and place in a preheated oven to 170 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
