Required products :

  • 3/4 tea cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 6 tea cups peaches, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 rectangular pieces of butter dough with approximate dimensions 28/35 centimeters.
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and move the grill to the bottom.
  • In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, ginger and salt.
  • Add the peaches and lemon juice, stir and set aside.
  • Spread one sheet of butter dough in a rectangular pan measuring approximately 23/33 centimeters. It will come out of it, but do not remove the excess.
  • Pour the peach mixture and lightly flatten with a spoon.
  • Cut the second sheet of dough into strips and "weave" them on top in the form of a lattice. Squeeze the edges lightly to fit together.
  • Spread the butter dough with the beaten egg and, if desired, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  • Bake the peach pie for about 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
