Learn how to cook "Pie with potatoes, cheese and green onions". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 1.5 teaspoons of yogurt
  • 3 teaspoons flour
  • 250 grams of butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

For the stuffing:

  • 250 grams of cheese
  • connection green onions
  • 600 grams of potatoes
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 1 teaspoon flour to roll out the dough
  • 1 egg for spreading

Method of preparation :

Mix the flour and grated butter, grind until crumbly.

Add the yogurt with the salt and soda dissolved in it.

Stir, you will get a soft sticky dough. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Peel the potatoes, boil them without adding salt, because the cheese is salty. Drain the water and mash them together with the butter.

When cool, add the shredded cheese and chopped green onions.

Take the dough out of the fridge, divide it in two and roll out each part, sprinkling flour on the hob.

Put one layer in a suitable form (use the rolling pin to transfer the dough), lined with baking paper, which goes out of the pan.

Then spread the filling on the surface and cover with the second layer.

Press the edges with your fingers to "seal" the pie.

You can decorate with dough molds. Brush with beaten egg and place in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes (the exact baking time can not be specified, it depends on the oven itself).

Remove the finished pie from the tray together with the paper, because otherwise, it may fall apart because it is soft. When cool, serve.

Enjoy your meal!
