Required products :

1 kg of chicken

1 teaspoon round grain rice

1 cup chickpeas

1 onion

1 small pepper

1 carrot on request

5 cloves garlic

1/3 teaspoon ground coriander

1 teaspoon turmeric

1/3 teaspoon ground cloves

5 grains of black pepper

6 tablespoons vegetable oil

salt to taste

chicken or vegetable broth

 

Method of preparation :

Pre-soak chickpeas in cold water overnight, then cook until done. Wash the rice and pour it with clean water for 30 minutes, drain the liquid.

Cut the chicken into pieces, fry until crusty in the hot fat and remove to a plate.

Cut carrots into strips, peppers - into cubes, finely chop onions. Fry the vegetables in the oil in which you cooked the meat earlier.

Pour the chicken into a saucepan, add the vegetables, chopped garlic, spices and rice, and put the chickpeas on top.

Drizzle everything with vegetable or chicken broth and stew until the rice is ready.

The dish is ready.
