Required products :

1 can of pineapple
50 milliliters of oil
150 grams of flour
5 grams of vanilla sugar
200 grams of cottage cheese
9 eggs
35 grams of cornstarch
300 milliliters of milk
150 grams of granulated sugar
110 grams of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange peel

Method of preparation :

Grind the cottage cheese, add 3 eggs, 3 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla and mix. Pour 150 milliliters of milk, stir. Then the flour and let the mixture stand for at least 30 minutes.

During this time, make the cream. Separate the yolks from the other 6 eggs, mix them with the remaining sugar. Add the starch and grated orange peel. Pour the juice from the canned pineapple and 50 milliliters of milk. Place the pan on the stove and let it cook on low heat for 2 minutes, stirring (it should thicken). If a very thick cream is obtained, dilute with a little milk.

Return to the dough. When it ripens, add the remaining milk and oil.
Cut the pineapples into circles.

Bake pancakes by pouring the dough into a hot pan, put a piece of canned fruit and press it lightly. When baking one pancake, place the pineapple in the middle and another at the end. This will be more convenient when "assembling" the cake.

Beat the 6 egg whites with 100 grams of powdered sugar and mix with the cream.

Grease a suitable form in which you will "build" the cake. Put a pancake and spread with cream.

Put the next pancake, taking into account the location of the pineapple rings. Again cream, pancake and so on until the quantities run out.

When finished, bake the cake in the oven at 170 degrees for about 30 minutes. Let a crust form on the surface.

Once cool, straighten the edges to get a beautiful regular shape, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Sprinkle with the remaining powdered sugar, garnish with pineapple pieces and serve.

Enjoy your meal!
