Easy pizza recipe with asparagus, garlic and fontina cheese. Serve with baby vegetables and season with vinaigrette and pecans if desired.

Required products :

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 bunch of asparagus
  • 1/2 cup wild onion (or green onion), chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 500 grams of pizza dough
  • 1 teaspoon fortina cheese (or mozzarella), grated

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven to 230 degrees for at least 15 minutes by placing the pizza pan inside.

Mix the garlic and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a small bowl. Cut the asparagus into pieces lengthwise and season with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1/4 cup wild onion (or green onion), salt and pepper to taste.

Carefully remove the heated pan, grease the bottom and spread the dough. Spread the oil-garlic mixture on top. Arrange the asparagus, sprinkle with the cheese and the remaining mixture of chives. Bake the pizza on the bottom shelf of the oven for about 15 minutes or until crispy and golden and the cheese is melted. Serve warm.
