  • 1/3 tea cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 head small fennel
  • 3 cloves garlic cut into very thin slices
  • salt and pepper
  • Chili pepper and basil for garnish (optional)

Method of preparation :

Spread the dough with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and knead it. Put it in a plastic bag or wrap it in a bowl with foil.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan and fry the meat from the sausage, breaking it into small pieces. Cook until fried and browned - about 8 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl.

If you use a fireproof pan, put 1 tablespoon of olive oil in it and spread the dough on the bottom. Season with salt and pepper and spread with the tomato sauce marinara. Sprinkle with mozzarella, thinly sliced fennel, garlic and sausage. Drizzle with the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Look at the underside of the dough - it should be slightly browned from the heat of the pan. If this does not happen, turn the stove to medium heat and place the pan for 3 minutes.

Transfer to the oven on medium heat and bake for 10-14 minutes until the cheese is melted and baked. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with pepper and basil leaves.

Sprinkle with salt and pour the last spoonful of olive oil.
