How To Cook Polenta With Yellow Cheese And Garlic Oil - Recipe

Required products :

200 grams of yellow cheese or cheese that melts easily
350 grams of corn flour
400 milliliters of milk
100 grams of butter
2 cloves garlic
1-2 slices of stale bread

pesto sauce and a handful of roasted chickpeas to serve

salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Mix the milk with 400 milliliters of water in a saucepan. Put on the stove and bring the liquid to a boil over medium heat. Add salt to taste.

Crush the slices of old bread and add to the milk. Then, stirring constantly, add the cornflour. Let the porridge cook at low temperature for about 10-15 minutes, stirring all the time with a wooden spoon or wire whisk.

It's time for the grated yellow cheese - pour it into the pan with the other products, stir until completely melted.


Make a garlic stir-fry by melting the butter in a pan and then fry the garlic mashed in it with a knife until the cloves turn dark brown, then remove them from the fat.

Add it to the prepared corn porridge, stir vigorously, season with salt, ground black pepper to taste and immediately remove the pan from the heat.

Distribute the polenta in suitable plates and serve with roasted chickpeas and pesto sauce.
