How To Cook Pork Chops With Cheese Breading And Garlic Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 pork chops with bone, 2 cm thick
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 tea cup grated yellow cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

For the sauce :

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup full sour cream
  • 1/4 tea cup grated yellow cheese
  • 1/4 tea cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • peel of 1 lemon, grated
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a large bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, cheese and parsley. Stir.
  • In the other two plates, place the flour and beaten eggs.
  • Roll each steak in flour, dip in an egg, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the steaks on both sides for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Bake them until fully cooked in a preheated oven to 200 degrees.
  • Meanwhile, make the sauce by melting the butter in a pan over medium heat and simmering the garlic and red pepper for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the chicken broth, cream, yellow cheese, basil and lemon zest.
  • Stir and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes, until the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve the pork chops hot, garnished with garlic sauce.
