Necessary products:

6 pork chops about 180 - 200 grams each

6 - 12 thin pieces of smoked bacon (the number depends on their width)

1 red pepper

1 small onion

200 grams of fresh or frozen peas

2 stalks of celery (optional)

parsley (optional)

ground black pepper

left

olive oil

Method of preparation:

Knock the steaks lightly. Rub them with a little salt, pepper and wrap each of them in strips of bacon (1 or 2 depending on their width). Bake in a medium hot pan for 7 - 10 minutes on both sides. During the last 4 minutes of cooking, close the dish with a lid or cover with foil, leave it like this when you remove from the heat to "rest" the steaks.

Cut onions and peppers into medium pieces, celery (if using) - finely, parsley - chop into petals.

Heat the olive oil in a separate pan (you can use the fat from the steaks if you prefer) and fry the peppers, onions and celery in a high heat, stirring for 5 minutes.

Then add the peas, close the jar with a lid and let it cook as needed. Season with salt and pepper, add parsley and mix well.

Serve the meat with the garnish in warm plates.

Enjoy your meal!
