Required products :

  • about 1 kg of pork (you can also use beef, veal or lamb)
  • canned tomatoes to taste
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion (maybe red)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 300 grams of frozen peas
  • 200 milliliters of broth of your choice (or water)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • spices of your choice and taste
  • olive oil to taste

Method of preparation :

Peel an onion and a carrot, cut them into small equal cubes or half (circles).

 

Cut the meat into pieces about 3 centimeters wide.

 
Pour the broth into a small saucepan and put on the stove to boil.
In a separate bowl with a thick bottom, heat the olive oil and fry all the vegetables in it for about 3-5 minutes.

 
Roll the pork in the flour and remove the excess by shaking.

 

Add to the vegetables and 10 minutes later, when the meat is fried, put the tomatoes together with their juice in the bowl with the other products and stir, of course.

 

 
Then it's time for the tomato puree and pour a ladle of hot broth if necessary. Close the pot with a lid and let the dish simmer on low heat for about 40 minutes.

 
Stir periodically and, if necessary, add a little more broth.
Towards the end of cooking, salt the dish to taste, add pepper and other spices you prefer and remove the lid of the pot. 10 minutes later, remove the pan from the heat and let the delicacy stand for a while before serving.

 

You can serve with a garnish of mashed potatoes, porridge, buckwheat porridge or another favorite addition.
