Required products :

  • 1 kg of pork ribs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the sauce:

  • 3/4 tea cup (capacity 250 milliliters) maple syrup
  • 250 milliliters of fortified wine (liqueur)
  • 125 milliliters of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon dried garlic flakes

Method of preparation :

Wash and dry the ribs, remove the skin from them. Salt them on both sides, put on a sheet of aluminum foil and wrap it tightly around the meat, leaving only one end open.

Make the sauce by mixing maple syrup with wine and balsamic vinegar. Add the mustard seeds, chili paste to the liquid and stir.

Pour half of the marinade over the ribs through the hole, which you then close thoroughly.

Put them in the oven for an hour and a half, and the temperature should be 160.

Put the remaining sauce on the stove and cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat. The amount will be reduced twice. Five minutes before turning off the heat, add the dried garlic to the sauce.

When an hour and a half has passed since the beginning of baking the ribs, take them out of the oven, cut the foil on top, spread the meat with the sauce you prepared and return to the oven for another 20 minutes (do not cover with foil).
