Required products :

  • 700 grams of pork fish, cut into thin steaks
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 3/4 tea cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Method of preparation :

  • Slightly thin the steaks with a meat hammer to a thickness of about 6-7 millimeters.
  • In a shallow dish, mix the eggs and mustard. Stir.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour with the salt and pepper. Stir again.
  • Pour the breadcrumbs into a third plate.
  • Roll each steak in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the pork schnitzels on both sides until golden brown for about 2-3 minutes. Add oil when needed.
  • Work in batches and do not overfill the pan, as the temperature of the oil will drop sharply and the meat will remain greasy.
  • Allow the schnitzels to drain on kitchen paper.
  • Serve with lemon slices.
