How To Cook Potato Bites With Chickpea And Spinach Flour - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Potato bites with chickpea and spinach flour". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2 large potatoes, pre-peeled and cut into small cubes (a quantity of about 2 tea cups is obtained)
  • about 200 grams of coarsely chopped spinach
  • 2 chopped small green chili peppers or use to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chickpea flour
  • 2 tablespoons rice flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons chopped coriander
  • 1 teaspoon mango powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon spice asafetida
  • a little red pepper
  • about 2 tablespoons of water if needed
  • frying fat

Method of preparation :

Mix all dry ingredients (rice flour and that of chickpeas, coriander, cumin seeds, paprika to taste, salt, asafetida spice and mango powder).

Add potatoes, spinach, chili peppers to this combination. Mix well and pour a few tablespoons of water to get a soft sticky dough.

It is important to fry the dough immediately after adding the vegetables, because otherwise, under the influence of salt, they will release their juice quickly.

Heat oil, the amount of which should cover about 2.5 centimeters from the height of the dish.

Scoop out the mixture with a tablespoon and fry the bites. They should surface, but they will not change color immediately. Also, try not to stick to each other.

Do not fry all the dough at once, make it step by step, each dose takes about 3-4 minutes in boiling oil. During this time, turn on all sides so that an even golden coating can form.

The crunchy appetizer is ready. Enjoy it!

Enjoy your meal!
