Boil the potatoes, peel them and grate. Add to them one egg, salt, garlic and spices to taste, mix well. Then add the cornflour and mix until you get an elastic potato dough.
Cut the yellow cheese into small pieces. Prepare the breadcrumbs: pour the breadcrumbs into one bowl and beat the remaining egg with a little salt in another.
With your hands, form chunks (like sticks) of the potato dough, in the middle of which you put a piece of yellow cheese, then dip the "sticks" first in the egg, then roll in breadcrumbs (if you want a thick crust, repeat 2-3 more times). Fry the bites until golden in hot oil. Arrange on a paper towel to drain off excess fat.
You can serve as a hot or cold appetizer, as well as a side dish to the main course. They are very tasty with milk garlic sauce.
