Required products :

  • 4 thin slices of bacon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 9 eggs
  • 1/4 tea cup chopped green onion feathers
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 potatoes, grated
  • 3/4 tea cup flour
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • parsley and ketchup to serve

Method of preparation :

Finely chop the bacon and fry until golden and crispy. Leave it on a piece of paper to drain.

Fry chopped garlic cloves in bacon fat, add beaten 8 eggs and green onions. Season with salt and pepper and fry until done - prepare scrambled eggs, not forgetting to leave them with a creamy texture.

Grate the potatoes and squeeze them through a towel. Add the remaining egg, flour, 1/2 teaspoon cheddar cheese to the grated potatoes and season. Stir to combine the products.

Cover a small bowl 10 cm in diameter with foil for fresh storage.

Fill half the bowl with the potatoes, then press on the walls to form a bowl of the products themselves. Fill with a little cheddar, a tablespoon of eggs, a little bacon and sprinkle with cheddar again. Wrap the foil and tighten to form a ball. Repeat with the other products.

Freeze the potato bombs (as wrapped in foil) in the freezer for 20 minutes.

During this time, preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Arrange the balls on baking paper and spread them with 1 beaten egg. Bake them for 35-40 minutes until golden.

Serve with ketchup and sprinkled with parsley.
