Required products :

  • 500 grams of potatoes
  • 30 grams of butter, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation :

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces.
  • Put them in a saucepan, cover with cold water and heat over high heat.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes until softened.
  • Drain the potatoes, transfer to a large bowl and mash them.
  • Add the butter and stir until melted.
  • Season with salt and add 2/3 of the flour. Stir well.
  • Continue to add flour until smooth dough that does not stick.
  • Remove to a floured surface and roll out to a thickness of 5 millimeters. Cut into squares.
  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil with 1/2 tablespoon butter over medium heat.
  • Bake the potato bread until golden brown, turn and bake again. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  • Serve it warm and enjoy.
