Required products :

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 3/4 cup grated yellow cheese
  • 1 teaspoon chopped bacon (or ham)
  • 1/4 tea cup green onions
  • 4 eggs (lightly beaten with a pinch of salt)
  • 1.5 cups of fresh milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Peel a squash, grate it and boil it in salted water until tender. Then drain the liquid and mash them while they are still hot.

Grease the bottom of a suitable form with oil or butter and distribute the potatoes evenly. Put bacon, sliced ​​(or ham), green onions and grated yellow cheese on them.

 

In a separate bowl, mix the lightly beaten eggs with the milk, add salt and pepper to taste. Cover the potatoes and bacon with the topping.
