Necessary products:
1 kg of potatoes
1 large carrot
1 onion
500 grams of mushrooms
2-3 tablespoons sour cream
4 eggs (3 for puree and 1 for spreading casserole)
1 cup flour
100 grams of butter
oil
salt, pepper, other spices - to taste
Method of preparation:
Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into large pieces. Boil them in salted water. While cooking, finely chop the onion, mushrooms into small pieces, grate the carrot. Fry onions over low heat with carrots until golden, add a little spice of your choice. Fry the mushrooms separately, when the liquid evaporates, add salt and pepper.
Return to the potatoes: Drain the water and make a puree of them. Add the butter and cream to the potatoes, mash. To get the right consistency, pour a little of the water in which they were boiled. Beat the puree (with a mixer or by quick hand movements) and allow to cool. Then add the beaten eggs and mix thoroughly. Now is the time to add the flour. Stir.
Mix the puree with onions, carrots and mushrooms. Pour the resulting mixture into a pan greased with oil. Brush with egg and bake for 45-60 minutes at 200 degrees (watch, it may take less time).
Allow the casserole to cool. Cut and serve. The result is a tender and filling dish with a crispy crust.
