How To Cook Potato Cream Soup With Onions In A Bread Bowl - Recipe

Required products :

1 loaf of rye or wheat bread with a thick crust
500 grams peeled and diced potatoes
100 grams chopped onions
500 milliliters chicken broth
100 grams of sour cream
1 egg
butter for frying
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Finely chop the onion, fry it until golden in hot oil. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and cook until done, drain the water, mash and add to the onion.

Gradually start pouring the chicken broth, stirring constantly over low heat. Then add the cream and season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.


Cut the top (lid) of the bread and very carefully carve the inside. The thickness of the walls should be about 2-2.5 centimeters. Beat the egg with a pinch of salt and spread on the inside of the bread.
Bake it in a preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes.

When you take it out of the oven, fill it with potato soup and serve immediately.
