How To Cook Potato Dough Casserole With Ham And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 grams of potatoes
  • 150 grams of flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 100 grams of ham, cut into slices
  • 100 grams of yellow cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

  • Wash the potatoes well and boil them in a large saucepan.
  • Allow them to cool, peel and mash to a homogeneous consistency.
  • Add the egg, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and mix well.
  • Gradually add the flour and knead a smooth dough. Divide it into two equal parts.
  • Pour 1 tablespoon of oil into a non-stick pan approximately 20 cm in size.
  • Spread one half of the potato dough on the bottom.
  • Spread the ham and yellow cheese and cover with the rest of the dough that you have previously spread.
  • Grease the top with the remaining oil.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and bake on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
  • Carefully turn over with a plate and cook for another 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Serve the pastry hot and enjoy.
