Required products :

  • 700 grams of potatoes
  • 250 grams of frozen peas
  • 280 grams of white fish fillet of your choice
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 75 grams of cheddar
  • 2 slices of dry bread, ground into crumbs
  • olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons yogurt
  • 85 grams
  • garden salad for serving

Method of preparation :

Peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters. Boil them in salted water for 15 minutes until soft. Add the peas and fish in the last 5 minutes to cook.

Remove the fish to a plate using a slotted spoon.

Strain the peas and potatoes through a colander and wait a while for the moisture to evaporate from them, then return them to the pan.

Finely grate more than half a lemon peel, mix with 1 tablespoon of mustard. Add to the peas and mash well. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste.

Tear the fish with a fork and add it to the mashed potatoes.

Cut the cheddar into 8 cubes.

Divide the potato filling into 8 equal parts, put 1 cheddar cube in the center of each and form a flat meatball with a diameter of about 4 centimeters.

Roll in the bread crumbs, pressing lightly so that they stick well to the meatballs.

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan and fry the meatballs for 3-4 minutes on each side. If necessary, add more fat before adding the next ones.

Put the prepared meatballs on a napkin and put in a warm oven while you fry the rest.

Grate the remaining lemon zest, mix with yogurt and add lemon juice and a little mustard.

Serve the fish meatballs on top of some of the milk sauce, and finally sprinkle with a few leaves of garden salad
