Crispy potato meatballs drizzled with citrus lemon sauce. A clash of pleasant aromas and tastes. Juicy, tender and crunchy meatballs that can be served with milk sauce or tarator.

Required products :

  • 5-6 potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • salt to taste
  • frying oil

for lemon sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method of preparation :

Peel the raw potatoes, grate them finely and drain the liquid. Add the egg, flour and salt to taste, then mix thoroughly.

From the resulting mixture form small meatballs, fry until golden in hot oil. Then arrange them in a pan and bake in the oven at 180 degrees until fully cooked.

Start making the sauce.

Fry the flour in butter until golden, dilute with vegetable broth, sweeten with sugar and pour lemon juice. Cook the sauce over low heat until thickened, stirring.

Pour the prepared potato meatballs with it and serve the dish.
