How To Cook Potato Nests With Mushrooms And Cheese - Recipe

Necessary products

About the nests:

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 100 milliliters of warm milk

For the stuffing:

  • 200 grams of mushrooms
  • 1 large onion
  • a few tablespoons of grated cheese
  • pinch of ground black pepper
  • spices of your choice
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation:

Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces. Put them in a saucepan, pour boiling water, add salt and cook until done. Then pour the water and pour the milk, put the butter. Puree, add the eggs and beat with a mixer.

Wash the mushrooms and cut them into straws. Peel an onion and cut it into semicircles. Fry onions and mushrooms in oil until golden. Add black pepper, spices, salt.

Fill a pastry syringe with mashed potatoes and shape the "nests" in a pan greased with oil or lined with baking paper. Make the nests by first forming a bottom from the potatoes, then forming "walls". Fill them with the mushroom stuffing, sprinkle with grated yellow cheese and put in the oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
