Required products :

  • 8 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 2 onions
  • 1.5 tablespoons semolina
  • 200 grams of fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons starch
  • oil to taste
  • salt and spices to taste

Method of preparation :

Cut onions and mushrooms into small cubes, grate carrots. Heat the fat and fry the chopped onion in it together with the carrots. Then add the mushrooms, season with salt and spices.

When everything is lightly fried, add the semolina and mix well.

Peel the potatoes, boil them, mash them, add the starch and stir.

Cover the bottom of a suitable form with baking paper, pour the potatoes, level the surface (the layer should be about 1 cm thick), add salt to taste and distribute the prepared filling evenly.

Carefully form a roll, grease it with oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper or whatever you prefer.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and let the dish bake for 20 - 25 minutes. When the finished roll has cooled, you can cut it into pieces.
