How To Cook Potato Salad With Celery, Buttermilk And Dill - Recipe

Required products :

  • 12 glasses of water
  • 1 kg of small red potatoes, cut into small pieces
  • 2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups celery, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper

* A tea cup is used to measure the quantities.

Method of preparation :

Pour 12 cups of water into the pan along with the potatoes and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Add the vinegar and cook for another 10-15 minutes. Drain and spread the potatoes evenly in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Combine the buttermilk and the next 8 ingredients. Pour the mixture over the potatoes, add the celery, season with pepper, stir and cool for 1 hour.

Serve the potato salad as a side dish to roast meat if desired.
