How To Cook Potato Stew With Meatballs, Vegetables And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

800 grams of minced meat

4 slices of bread without crust + 3 tablespoons of milk

1 egg

3 cloves garlic

2 onions

2 carrots

100 grams of mushrooms

4 potatoes

100 milliliters of red wine

300 milliliters of water

250 grams of cooking cream

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon cumin seeds

2 tablespoons flour

salt and pepper to taste

frying oil

 

Method of preparation :

Put the bread in a bowl and pour the milk, leave for 5 minutes. Then add the minced meat, 1 egg, 2 cloves crushed garlic, salt, pepper and knead. From the resulting mixture form meatballs, arrange them in a suitable container, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Heat oil and fry in a low heat the chopped onions and carrots, the remaining garlic for about 5 minutes. Then add the chopped mushrooms, red pepper, pour water and wine, add cumin, salt and pepper to taste and stir. Bring the mixture to a boil and then add the meatballs, peeled and diced potatoes. Close the pan with a lid and let the dish simmer for about 40 minutes.

In a suitable bowl, beat the flour with a little water, put the cream.

Towards the end of cooking, pour the mixture over the other products, stir carefully and turn off the stove.

Serve hot and sprinkled with chopped parsley.
