How To Cook Potatoes In A Bread Bed With Garlic And Walnuts - Recipe

Required products :

800 grams of fresh potatoes (you can also use small old ones)

1 tablespoon flour

40 milliliters of oil

salt to taste

 

About the "bed":

2 slices of wheat bread

1 - 2 small heads of garlic or to taste

about 15 walnuts or to taste

2 tablespoons oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method of preparation :

Boil the potatoes in salted water without peeling them if they are young. If you use old ones, you can peel them and cut them into small pieces. Drain the water.

Peel the garlic and crush it with salt, add the ground walnuts, crush again.

Dip the bread slices in water and then drain them. Add to the garlic mixture. Stir the resulting combination with a wooden spoon, gradually pouring the oil. Season with lemon juice, add dill and mix everything.

Spread the bread mixture in the salad bowl.

When the potatoes have cooled, peel them and fry in oil, add a little chopped garlic. Towards the end of frying, pour a spoonful of flour, stir and wait for a crispy crust to form. Add salt.

Take them out of the salad bowl with the walnut mixture and serve the dish hot.
