Necessary products:

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 125 ml of olive oil
  • 4 medium onions
  • 8 cloves garlic (unpeeled)
  • left
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 - 3 sprigs of thyme
  • 50 g pitted black olives
  • 50 g pitted green olives
  • 60 g of pine nuts
  • a handful of ground fresh basil

Method of preparation:

Pour olive oil into a saucepan and heat it. Put the chopped potatoes, onions and garlic. Stir so that the olive oil covers the products on all sides. Then add salt, pepper and thyme. Allow the dish to cook on the hob until the onions are soft and the potatoes are golden (about 30 minutes). Do not close the container, stir periodically. Only then add the olives, cedar nuts and stir. Add basil and spices to taste.
