How To Cook Puff Pastry Croissants With Chocolate And Almonds - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Puff pastry horns with chocolate and almonds". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

500 grams of frozen puff pastry

1 egg

1 tablespoon liquid cream

50 grams of almond leaves

100 grams of dark chocolate

powdered sugar for sprinkling

 

Method of preparation :

Thaw the dough, cut it into triangles and arrange in a tray lined with baking paper.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Separate the egg white from the yolk. Mix the yolk with the cream. Beat the egg whites and spread it on the triangles. Then sprinkle them with almond leaves, put on each a piece of chocolate no thicker than 1 cm. Give the desired shape and smear the surface of the horns with a mixture of egg yolk and cream.

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes (until golden).

You get delicious croissants, which you will have to wait for them to cool down enough to sprinkle with powdered sugar and only then enjoy them.
