Required products :

200 grams of pumpkin

60 grams of oatmeal

70 grams of sugar (you can use more if you prefer sweeter)

125 milliliters of unscented vegetable fat

190 grams of flour

dried fruits and nuts of your choice and on request

1 teaspoon baking soda quenched in vinegar

pinch of salt

powdered sugar for sprinkling

 

Method of preparation :

Peel a squash, grate it and boil it in water until smooth.

Roast the oats in a dry pan and grind them lightly with a blender.

Mix the pumpkin puree, sugar and oil. Beat with a mixer for 2 minutes (until smooth). Add the soda quenched in vinegar and a pinch of salt, stir.

 

Sift the flour directly into the bowl with the sweet puree, add the oatmeal and mix everything thoroughly. If you are going to use dried fruits and / or nuts, now is the time to add them as well.

 

Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper. Form pumpkin dough cakes by hand, the size of a walnut.

 

Bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.

 

Wait for the breads to cool and decorate as desired. You can make a cream of cottage cheese, cream and sugar or just sprinkle the delicious cakes with powdered sugar and enjoy them.
