Required products :

500 grams of pumpkin
200 grams of wheat flour
350 grams of cornmeal / porridge
200 grams of green onions
4 eggs
400 milliliters of milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
8 tablespoons vegetable oil
a pinch of salt

Method of preparation :

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.

 

In a suitable bowl, mix the corn porridge with the sifted flour, pumpkin, chopped onion, add the sugar, salt and baking powder.

 

Then carefully pour the milk, add the eggs and oil. A slightly thick dough is obtained.

 

Transfer to a greased baking dish.

 

Place in a preheated 200 degree oven for 30 minutes. When the bread is red, you can cover with foil, reduce the temperature and let it bake for another 30 minutes.

 

Check readiness with a toothpick.

 

You can serve with butter and cream cheese.
