How To Cook Pumpkin Donuts With Rosemary And Parmesan - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 tea cup Parmesan, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • oil for the pan

Method of preparation :

  • Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat, keeping in mind that its depth should be at least 6-7 centimeters.
  • Mix the pumpkin puree with the eggs in a medium bowl and mix until smooth.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and stir briefly.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese and fresh rosemary. Stir and season with freshly ground black pepper.
  • Pour 1 tablespoon of the dough into the pan and fry on both sides until golden brown.
  • Repeat with the rest of the dough without overfilling the pan, as the temperature will drop sharply.
  • Transfer the finished donuts to kitchen paper to drain the fat.
  • Serve warm, garnished to taste.
