Pumpkin lovers will love this easy recipe for pumpkin jam. Like pumpkin pie in a jar, but better. You can spread on a slice, add to oatmeal or to yogurt.

Necessary products:

3 and 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin puree with cinnamon and vanilla (or 1 can of pumpkin puree)
1 / 2-1 tea cup brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon apple cider (or apple juice)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1-2 cinnamon sticks
1-2 teaspoons homemade spice for pumpkin pie, to taste

Method of preparation:

In a large saucepan, mix the pumpkin puree with the cinnamon and vanilla, the brown sugar, the apple cider, the vanilla extract, the homemade pumpkin pie spice and the cinnamon sticks and mix well. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until thickened. Stir often. Remove from the heat and store in jars.

Serve spread on toasted slices or in a bowl with yogurt.
