How To Cook Pumpkin "spaghetti" With Garlic, Cheese And Cream - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 large pumpkin "spaghetti"
  • 5 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 teaspoon water
  • 1 cube chicken broth, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon cream
  • 1/4 tea cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 tea cup melted cheese
  • 1/4 tea cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tea cup grated yellow cheese
  • fresh thyme
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • parsley or green onions, finely chopped

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  • Cut the pumpkin "spaghetti" in half lengthwise and clean the seeds with a spoon.
  • Place the two halves in a large pan, making a "nest" of aluminum foil under each of them so that they are stable and do not spill the filling.
  • Sprinkle the inside with freshly ground black pepper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the crushed garlic, cream, water, crushed cube of broth, fresh thyme leaves and chopped green onions. Stir well.
  • Distribute half of the cheese and yellow cheese on the bottom of the two pumpkin halves.
  • Divide the cream mixture evenly and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and yellow cheese.
  • Bake for about 40-50 minutes, until the meat of the pumpkin "spaghetti" softens.
  • Serve warm, sprinkled with chopped green onions or fresh parsley.
