How To Cook Pumpkin Strudel, Cream Cheese And Walnuts - Recipe

Required products :

400 grams of boiled pumpkin
12 leaves of thawed pie crust (size 33 x 22.5 cm)
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
1 / 4 teaspoons grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon white sugar
2/3 tea cup melted butter
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped walnuts
240 grams cream cheese divided into 12 parts
whipped cream to serve - optional

 

Method of preparation :

Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees.

Mix the boiled pumpkin with the brown sugar and salt in a bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, stir.
In a separate bowl, pour the white sugar and the remaining cinnamon.

Put two sheets of peel on top of each other, spread with melted butter, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar with cinnamon and the same amount of crushed walnuts.

Cut the dough into two parts and put a piece of cream cheese on each, and a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture on it.

Fold the edges and form a roll. Prepare the remaining crusts in the same way.

Arrange the rolls in a pan (12 strudels should be obtained), spread them with melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar.

Bake in a preheated oven for about 12-13 minutes (or until golden).

Serve the strudels hot with whipped cream.
