Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 280 grams of flour
  • 160 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

For the stuffing:

  • 700 grams of pumpkin (without peel)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Method of preparation :

Put the milk, yolk and butter in a bowl. In another - the flour to which you add salt and sugar. Then carefully add the liquid products to the flour and knead the dough. Cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, make the filling.

Peeled pumpkin, grate on a coarse grater. If it is very juicy, drain the liquid.

Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Roll out the dough, one end should be wider than the other. Leave the rolling pin and stretch the layer with your hands to make it very thin (the size of a notebook sheet). Be careful not to break the dough. Spread the grated pumpkin evenly on its surface, sprinkle with cinnamon and a little sugar. If you like raisins, you can put some of them.

You should roll it up and wrap it like a snail. Put the dough in a greased pan, grease with melted butter. Make a few small incisions on top. Bake the pie for about an hour until the characteristic crust forms.

Sprinkle the prepared pumpkin with powdered sugar and serve.
