Required products :

  • 100 grams of unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 150 grams of flour
  • 50 grams of fine sugar
  • 2 drops of vanilla extract
  • fine sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Sift the flour into a large bowl and add the butter.
  • Grind them with your fingers until the mixture looks like fine breadcrumbs.
  • Add the sugar and vanilla extract and knead a smooth dough.
  • Roll it out between two sheets of baking paper and refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
  • Remove the dough, remove the top sheet of paper and use molds to cut out the butter biscuits.
  • Arrange them in a tray covered with baking paper.
  • Bake in a preheated oven to 130 degrees for 25-30 minutes until light golden.
  • Allow the buttermilk to cool for a few minutes and sprinkle with fine sugar while still warm.
