Required products :
8 eggs
6 tablespoons sour cream
3.5 teaspoons granulated sugar
500 grams of butter
5 teaspoons flour
0.5 teaspoon soda
0.5 teaspoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon syrup / jam juice
400 grams of crushed walnuts
a pinch of vanilla
Method of preparation :
Separate the yolks from the whites.
Beat the yolks until white with 2 cups of sugar, add the cream and softened butter. Mix well, add soda, vinegar, vanilla. Then pour the flour and make a dough, from which bake 3 loaves.
Prepare the filling by beating the egg whites with the remaining 1.5 teaspoons of sugar until a thick foam is obtained. Add the juice of jam, pouring it in a thin stream and pour the crushed or finely chopped walnuts.
"Assemble" the cake, arranging the tops on top of each other, spreading each with walnut filling.
You can cover with chocolate glaze, mix boiled condensed milk with walnuts or make a cream of your choice.
Store the cake in a cool place.
