Required products :

  • 3 tea cups self-swelling flour
  • 1 teaspoon full-fat cream / without whipping it /
  • 1 cup cold lemonade

For garnish :

  • whipped cream
  • homemade jam

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees and cover the bottom of the pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, cream and lemonade and mix until soft and sticky.
  • Take it out on a floured surface and lightly roll it out to a thickness of 2.5 centimeters.
  • Use a cup about 6 inches in diameter to cut the loaves.
  • Gather the remaining dough into a ball, roll out and cut again.
  • Arrange them in the prepared tray so that their edges lightly touch.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow the lemonade cakes to cool on a wire rack, covering them with a clean cotton cloth.
  • Serve them with whipped cream, jam and tea or just enjoy them.
