Required products :

  • 100 grams of salted butter
  • 100 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 tea cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary / optional /

Method of preparation :

 

  • Mash the butter, flour and parmesan in a food processor until you get a moist and crumbly dough. Add rosemary and stir briefly.
  • Another option is to mix the flour and butter in a bowl and use your fingers to rub the ingredients together to form butter crumbs. Then add parmesan and rosemary and mix lightly to distribute evenly.
  • Take the dough out on a clean and flat surface and divide it into two equal parts.
  • Form rolls with a diameter of about 3 centimeters and a length of about 15 centimeters.
  • Wrap them in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until firm.
  • Take out the dough and use a sharp knife to cut it into circles 7 millimeters thick.
  • Arrange the biscuits in a tray covered with baking paper.
  • Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Wait 5 minutes and transfer the salted biscuits to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Serve them with a glass of white wine, olives or anything else you like.
