Fry onions, garlic and carrots in a deep pan, stirring occasionally. Add the quinoa, pour the water, season with salt and pepper. After boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Then remove from the heat, cover with a lid and leave for 10 minutes.
Transfer the quinoa and vegetables to the salad bowl, then add the olives, chopped fresh tomatoes, basil and tomato powder.
