Pour the milk into a thick-bottomed saucepan, add 1 cup of water and the well-washed quinoa beans. Put on high heat when it boils, reduce the temperature to medium and let it cook for 15 minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed.
Remove the pan from the heat, close with a lid and leave for 5 minutes.
Cut the walnuts into large pieces and bake in a dry pan for 5 minutes.
Mix the cherries with the cinnamon and sugar (if you use frozen fruit, first thaw them and drain the excess liquid).
Divide the porridge into suitable bowls, put the fruit on it, sprinkle with walnuts and pour honey.
