Necessary products:

 

  • 1 rabbit, cut into portions
  • 2 tablespoons grainy mustard
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 60 milliliters of cognac
  • 200 grams of small mushrooms, whole
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • olive oil, salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation:

 

In a saucepan with a lid, pour olive oil and fry the whole mushrooms, onions and carrots, peeled and finely chopped. Add the rabbit meat and pour the cognac.

Stew the dish for 10 minutes, then add the mustard, salt, pepper and bay leaves. Pour about 100 milliliters of warm water and cook the dish over low heat for two hours.

Once the liquid is reduced, add the sour cream, remove the dish from the heat and cool. Arrange on a plate and serve the meat with a garnish of your choice.
