Necessary products

For swamps:

  • 8 eggs
  • 1.5 teaspoons sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 3.5 teaspoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar or a pinch of vanilla
  • 0.5 teaspoon leavening agent
  • 6 different food coloring

For cream:

  • 800 milliliters of cream with a fat content of 30%
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 15 grams of gelatin
  • 1/3 tea cup boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon cognac, rum or brandy
  • 3/4 tea cup of water

Method of preparation :

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with salt, gradually adding the sugar (you can use powdered sugar so the egg whites break down faster). When a thick foam is obtained, reduce the beating speed to the minimum and carefully add the yolks, flour, baking powder and vanilla. Mix with a mixer and the dough is ready. Divide it into 6 equal parts and add the prepared colorants to each.

Then it all depends on how you want your cake to look. You can simply bake colorful loaves to stack on top of each other. Pour the various doughs in a greased form and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

The other option is to randomly put the different colored mixtures in the form using a spoon. If you prefer this method, you should bake the cake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Make a cream. Pour boiling water over the gelatin and stir constantly until it is completely dissolved, then allow to cool. Whip the cream with the powdered sugar, carefully add the gelatin and stir. Wet the prepared loaves with alcohol mixed with water and arrange them on top of each other, smearing them with cream. Let the cake stand overnight and enjoy it.
