  • 8 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raspberry jam or marmalade
  • red food coloring
  • 3 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons confectionery cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and sprinkle with fat the cake pan in which you will bake. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Put the butter and sugar in another bowl. Beat them, add the eggs, vanilla and continue the process for another 2-3 minutes.

Add the dry ingredients and mix until homogeneous. Divide the dough into two parts and color the second with jam and food coloring. Mix well and spread some of the white dough in the form. Garnish with the colored and finish with the rest of the plain mixture.

Rotate the form by hand so that the mixture is evenly distributed and bake the cake for 40 minutes. When ready, cool it, and during this time prepare the glaze. Heat the cream, add the vanilla paste and powdered sugar. Stir and decorate the cake with the resulting pearl glaze. Cool, cut, arrange on a plate and serve.
