Required products :

  • 2/3 teaspoon oil
  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons semolina
  • 1 1/4 tablespoon salt

Method of preparation :

 

  • Wash, peel and cut the potatoes in bulk.
  • Transfer them to a saucepan of water and cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Drain the water and return them to the pan.
  • Sprinkle with semolina and salt, close the lid and shake vigorously to taste evenly.
  • Pour the oil into a pan and heat it in the oven at high temperature.
  • Before pouring the potatoes, check the oil - when you add a crumb of bread, it should start to fry.
  • Carefully transfer them to the pan and stir quickly to cover with the hot fat.
  • Reduce the oven temperature to 220 degrees and bake the potatoes for about 50-60 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve immediately, because if they cool, they will not be so crunchy.
