How To Cook Red Beans With Garlic, Tomatoes And Walnuts - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 cups red beans
  • 1 large onion (red)
  • 2-4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • connection dill or parsley
  • 2 tomatoes
  • spices to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the beans with cold water for 12 hours. Drain it then and pour clean to cover the beans about a centimeter. Cook over low heat for about 50-60 minutes.

 

Meanwhile, cut the onion into semicircles.

 

Tomatoes - in small cubes.

 

Stew onions for 5 minutes in oil, add the tomatoes and let the vegetables fry for 10-15 minutes on high heat, without closing with a lid, stirring occasionally.

 

Finely chop the garlic and green spices, chop the walnuts or grind coarsely with a blender.

 

Reduce the heat and add the parsley / dill, garlic, walnuts and spices to the bowl with the onions and tomatoes.

Stir and leave the mixture on low heat for another 10 minutes.

 

Once the beans are ready, combine them with the vegetables, stir and let the dish stand for 10 minutes on the stove. If it gets too dry, you can pour a little of the broth in which the beans were boiled.
